Dog John's Rafale, aka Pepi, is loved, owned and trained by Anthony Hartelaub, who imported her as a puppy from France.

Pepi is a smaller size female with much substance. Since a very young age, she has shown a lot of intensity in everything she does. Her grip, speed and agility surprise anyone who has the chance to see this girl work. Just like her father, Ozone van het Dreiland, she shows a lot of power and intensity in protection work. Her powerful grips are something to be desired in many IGP dogs of much bigger size. Pepi shows much fire in obedience and exceptional jumping behaviour. Her tracking is methodical, and she has a nice deep nose. At home, Pepi is a sweet, very affectionate dog that gets along well with females, males and puppies. She is protective of her territory, but once she gets used to the person, she considers them a part of her family. While not working outside her territory, Pepi is social with people and children. One of her favourite activities is swimming; no body of water is safe around her, even in sub-0 temperatures.

Pepi gave Expat Kennel her first litter in 2024, and all puppies show promising working careers. She will be bred in the future under Anthony's breeding program.
